Registration Information
 
Have questions about registration? Check out the Registration Frequently Asked Questions.

Please note that the March 1st deadline has passed.  The registration fee is now $325 per person for any new registrations.  A participant needed to be registered online and have the appropriate paperwork and payment sent to the Gathering Office with a postmark by March1, 2010, to receive the original registration rate of $275

Before you begin the Registration process, print off a copy of the 2010 NYG REGISTRATION BOOK. Here you can find answers to many of your questions, including the following:

All participants need to register online.
Use the following printable forms to start collecting information from youth and adult leaders. These are for your information only. You will not mail these worksheets to the Gathering office.

The National Youth Gathering will work with groups to provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with a disability. In addition to registering online, individuals with a disability will be required to complete a Special Needs Form, stating their disability and need. Once registered, Rev. William Wrede, Special Needs Advisor, will work with the individual and his or her group to coordinate services.
 

You will need your congregation ID number to register. This number is on the mailing label of your Gathering DVD. If you are in need of your congregation ID, please call (800-248-1930 x1155) or email our office, nygregistration@lcms.org.

 
To register online, go here!! This is where you enter information for your group. You may save your information and return later to continue entering participants.
 

After you enter your data, click “Done” to submit your registration. You will then be prompted to print out your Pastoral Affirmation Form and your Registration Account Form. Obtain the necessary signature and your payment, and mail the two forms and payment to the Gathering Registration Office. Note: Your group’s information will not be processed until after you have sent in this paperwork.

 
Once your paperwork has been completely processed in the Gathering Office, the Primary Adult Leader will receive an email confirming your group’s acceptance into the Gathering. Unlike previous years, post mailed confirmation letters will not be sent.
 
Once your group has been accepted into the Gathering, you will be able to make additions, substitutions, and cancellations. For more information, click here.
 
Notes on Gathering Housing
  • Hotel assignments will be post mailed in the spring to Primary Adult Leaders.
  • In the housing mailing, there will be a form that will need to be completed and returned to the Gathering Office. A hotel deposit is required at that time (sent to the Gathering Office, NOT the hotel).
  • Congregations are encouraged to cover hotel deposits with a credit card. This can be a church or personal credit card.

The Gathering Registration Office hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday thru Friday. Please call during this time if you have questions regarding the on-line registration process.
