LCMS Districts at the Gathering
LCMS Districts can play a key role in preparing congregational groups to attend the Gathering.  See links below for a variety of ways that District assist and connect participants.

District Coordinators are key volunteers assigned by LCMS Districts and trained to connect LCMS congregations to Gathering information and the Gathering Office. Coordinators also manage specific tasks at the Gathering including District Events and Booths. View the list of District Coordinators and their contact information here.

District Coordinators are encouraged to create Facebook pages for their respective LCMS District. These pages will provide information on District Events, District Booths, Adult Leader trainings, and opportunities to travel as a district to San Antonio. Find pages here.

District Events
Some Districts host events before, during, or after the Gathering that bring together participants from their Districts. The Gathering works with District Coordinators to schedule these events at times that coordinate with the Gathering schedule. Expect information about these events to be available in Spring 2013.

District Booths
During the days of the Gathering, each District is invited to manage a booth at the Convention Center in the experiential learning area. These booths are opportunities for Gathering participants to learn about the various LCMS Districts and participate in a service project. Your congregational group may have the opportunity to volunteer at the booth. Expect detailed information about District booths to be available in Spring 2013.
