Songs Music is a key part of the Gathering experience. This experience includes music that might be heard or sung at Mass Events, the Worship Service or Evening Prayer and Praise. You will hear a wide variety of music – some hymns that can be found in your church’s hymnal, a contemporary hymn that might be very familiar to you, a new arrangement of a hymn, or a new song altogether. Below is a list of some songs you may hear at the Gathering: Alleluia! Sing to Jesus Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone) Blessed Be Your Name Christ the Life of All the Living Everlasting God Everything That Has Breath God of Wonders Holy God, We Praise Thy Name How Deep the Father's Love For Us I Know That My Redeemer Lives Indescribable Sanctus Sing to the King We Praise You and Acknowledge You, O God You Are Holy (Prince of Peace) What does the CCLI Catalog # mean? CCLI is short for Christian Copyright Licensing International. The Church Copyright License, offered by CCLI, is a contractual agreement with songwriters and publishers from around the world. For an annual license fee, a church receives legal authorization to copy from over 200,000 songs for congregational use. At the same time, a church should not assume that simply having a CCLI license number does not guarantee coverage for every song a church might use. CCLI assigns a catalog number to each song within its catalog. The CCLI catalog # is an easy way to make sure you are using the same arrangement that we will be using at the Gathering. Please contact your churches music director or secretary to see if your church has a CCLI License. We encourage you to use the guidelines setup by CCLI when printing and using these. What does LSB mean? The Lutheran Service Book, or LSB, is a hymnal that is produced by Concordia Publishing House. Lutheran Service Book is a rich compilation of services, psalms, hymns, and prayers that will nourish and edify the faithful week after week for generations to come. |
